Terms of Use

These terms are an agreement between you and Hey Bhagwan ("we", "us") about your use of the Hey Bhagwan app ("the app"). By creating an account or using the app you accept them. If you do not agree, please do not use the app. Our Privacy Policy explains how we handle your data.

1. Who can use the app

You must be at least 18 years old. You are responsible for your account and for keeping your sign-in secure.

2. What the app is, and is not

• The deities' replies and voices are generated by artificial intelligence, inspired by Hindu scripture and tradition. They are not the words of a real deity, priest or guru, and they can be mistaken.
• The app is for reflection, devotion and comfort. It is not medical, mental-health, legal or financial advice, and it is not a substitute for a doctor, counsellor or other professional.
• If you are in danger or thinking of harming yourself, contact local emergency services or a crisis helpline straight away (in India, Tele-MANAS: 14416).
• If a reply is offensive, harmful or wrong, please report it with the flag next to the reply.

3. Using the app respectfully

You agree not to:

• use the app for anything illegal, or to harass, threaten or harm anyone;
• try to make the AI produce hateful, sexual, violent or otherwise harmful content, or content that mocks any faith;
• misuse rewards, for example by automating ads, using several accounts, or exploiting bugs to get gold;
• copy, resell, reverse-engineer or interfere with the app or its servers.

We may suspend or close accounts that break these rules.

4. Your content

What you write and say remains yours. You allow us to store and process it, including with our AI providers, only to run the app for you, as described in the Privacy Policy. You can delete conversations, memories or your whole account at any time.

5. Premium, gold and purchases

• Premium is a subscription bought through Google Play. It renews automatically until you cancel it in Google Play, and its benefits (such as monthly talk time and gold) are those shown in the app when you subscribe.
• Gold is a virtual currency used inside the app, for example for talk time and messages. It has no cash value, cannot be exchanged for money, sold or transferred, and is not refundable except where the law requires. Gold earned from ads or streaks, or bought in pouches, is lost if you delete your account.
• Payments and refunds are handled by Google Play under its own policies.
• We may change prices and what is included, or remove gold that was obtained through fraud or an error. Changes never take away what you have already paid for in the current subscription period.

6. Ads

On the free plan you may choose to watch rewarded ads to earn gold. Ads are provided by Google AdMob; we do not control their content, and how many ads are offered can change.

7. Changes and availability

We work to keep the app available and improving, but we may change, pause or end features at any time. If we change these terms in a significant way, we will tell you in the app; continuing to use the app means you accept the new terms.

8. Ending your use

You may stop using the app and delete your account at any time from Settings. We may end or suspend your access if you break these terms or if we stop offering the app.

9. Liability

The app is provided "as is". As far as the law allows, we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, or for decisions you make based on the AI's replies, and our total liability to you is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim. Nothing in these terms limits rights you have as a consumer that cannot be limited by law.

10. Law

These terms are governed by the laws of India, and disputes are subject to the jurisdiction of the courts of India, without affecting any mandatory consumer rights where you live.
